Conference Paper and Workshop/Panel Presentations

We highly encourage you to give a presentation! The heart of conferences like these consists of what we bring to it and share with our fellow planetarians. Take a moment to reflect on all you’ve done since the last conference. Did you create or try any new programs, any new activities or any new ways of engaging with your audiences? Are there any issues within the field you think would be good to talk about in a panel format?

The deadline for submitting a presentation proposal is May 19, 2024. The paper selection committee will review all submissions and choose and schedule the presentations. These will be finalized by the end of May. Presentation submissions will be reviewed for relevance and scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.

  • Paper presentation sessions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. Each paper presentation will be 15 minutes long – 10 min. for presentation, 3 min. for Q&A, 2 min. for transition.
  • Workshops and Panel Discussions will be on Friday. These sessions will be limited to 50 minutes. Additional Paper presentations may be on Friday, depending upon the total number of submissions.
