Located just 20 minutes from downtown Orlando, both Seminole State College and the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary are well-placed for out-of-state travelers. We have two great airport choices, with non-stop or 1-stop airfare from almost any location in the United States.

Orlando International Airport (code: MCO)

The area’s biggest airport is Orlando International, located about 35 miles south of Lake Mary and the hotel – about 40 minutes driving on a typical day. Although the distance is a bit long, the number of flights in and out of Orlando should cover almost any traveling itinerary. All major rental car agencies have branches at OIA, and quick access to toll roads and Interstate 4 should make for a struggle-free commute. There is no shuttle between OIA and the hotel.

Orlando Sanford International Airport (code: SFB)

Although considerably smaller than OIA, Orlando Sanford International is less than 10 miles from the hotel – please check with the Marriott as to the availability of their complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. SFB’s flight schedule is more limited, but they do have a tendency to work more with smaller airports that may be closer to your home location. For ease of travel, SFB is your best bet.

Regardless of your travel arrangements, the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary hotel is located right off exit 101B on Interstate 4. As the tallest building in the area, the conference hotel will be easily visible from the interstate for about a half-mile.

The conference hotel is about 15 minutes northwest of the Seminole State College campus and the Buehler Planetarium. Prominent signage will be posted to direct attendees in and out of the campus.
