Prior to moving to Baton Rouge in May 2003, I headed up the Lane Planetarium in Eugene, Oregon where I was also an adjunct astronomy instructor at the University of Oregon and the Lane College. While in the Pacific Planetarium Association region, I served as a PPA president and was elected IPS president. I also directed the Andrus Planetarium in New York and was an Intern at the Strasenburgh Planetarium in Rochester. While attending the University of Tuebingen in Germany, I lectured part-time at the Carl-Zeiss Planetarium in Stuttgart and taught at the University of Maryland's overseas branch in Vaihingen, Germany. Germany has some really great beer, but no Woodchuck. I enjoy observing the surprisingly clear night skies from my backyard through a four-inch refractor, and really like the planetarium work in Baton Rouge.
