SEPA Scholarship

Requirements for Scholarship Applicants must:

• be currently employed at an active planetarium (i.e. be a member of the planetarium staff) in the SEPA region.
• submit a completed scholarship application and current resume. present a paper or poster at the conference. The paper or a write-up of the poster will appear in the fall edition of the journal.
• meet deadlines for submitting the scholarship application, and, if selected, for conference registration and paper presentation.
• if selected for the scholarship this year, be ineligible for the award next year.

Application process:

Candidates will complete the application form within the registration form. Submit the completed form, the candidate's resume, and an abstract for his/her paper or poster. Deadline for applications is midnight EST April 15. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail April 30. The scholarship will cover the registration fee for the conference, but not SEPA dues. Depending on the number of successful candidates an additional amount for hotel expenses may be awarded. Please use the application form within the conference registration form.
